Em Client Pro License

If there is no Activate button and this section already seems to include some License information it means there already is a license activated on this computer. If it's the correct license, you don't need to do anything.

Em client pro license

By purchasing a regular eM Client Pro license, you get the latest officially released major version of eM Client, all the smaller updates related to that version, and all older versions.

Basic eM Client licenses are meant to be used on one computer only, so if you have one eM Client license and are using eM Client on two or more computers, you will be asked to re-activate your eM Client license each time you switch between the computers.

However, we offer significant discounts on multi-license orders so you can purchase all the licenses you may potentially need in bulk. If you have any questions regarding the purchase or would like to talk about the pricing individually, please contact our sales department at sales@emclient.com.

So when you try to activate the license after the eM Client trial, you will encounter an error message instead, because the request sent from Windows XP, unfortunately, doesn't arrive at our licensing system.

We have created a compatibility version for XP which allows the connection, but please be aware that this version will not be updated in the future. Please send us a message to info@emclient.com if you are interested in this version.

Otherwise please go register or purchase a license from our website. Please make sure to register the license to an email address that you have access to, as the license key will be sent there.

New/Free users will get a free 30-day trial of eM client 9 with all its Pro features. IMPORTANT: Pro users whose licenses are only valid for eM Client 8 and older need to buy a one-time upgrade to Version 9 first, or their program will be in offline mode until they upgrade their license or revert back to their previous version.

You can overview your licenses using our License manager and even remotely manage specific activations. Find out how to manage your licenses or assign centralized settings to your activations.

I ran into this issue yesterday as I wanted to put eM Client on my laptop. The only place I could even find the license file was buried inside the eM Client installer .msi file. I wish the license file was more visible somewhere.

I understand your frustration, but we do not plan to change our licensing system in foreseeable future.1 License = 1 installation, if anyone needs for example 2 installations then he will buy multilicense and his key will be able to use on 2 computers (or on a count he bought)

Well, was about to buy but now im not. Just routing all my mail via gmail works just as fine and will simply continue using the free version. No idea why you guys have this policy. If you are afraid that companies will abuse it the tie aa license to a specific email or something.

I have a Pro license with lifetime updates. I launched eM Client today and 1st a smaller window opened that said my Pro license expires in 6 days. eM Client then opened in the background, but the expiration window stayed on top as the active window with no way to close it. No X to click in corner, no OK, no Cancel, no click on the window or outside it and no esc. I could only see eM Client in background and clicking on the app X to close it did nothing because it was not the active window. I had to use Task Manager to close eM Client. When I launched the app again the same expiration window came up but had an X in the corner this time, so I clicked it right away and eM Client opened. When I checked Menu>Help>License it showed Demo. I tried to activate, and it failed. I tried again and it accepted it and it shows the correct info just as it did yesterday. Everything works. Why did this happen? Will this happen every year?

Regular Pro Licenses also deactivate automatically if you activate them on another device. Pro Business licenses with more 2 or more seats will always need to be manually deactivated, either on the device or in the License Manager.

I have purchased two pro licenses. I would like to be able to keep em Client mail, rules, folders, etc, in sync between thew two systems. Likewise if I add a 3rd system I would like that to be kept in sync as well.

If you have a Pro Business License, using the License Manager you can sync many settings through our server. In this case the server is also the master, so if you change something on a client, it will later be overwritten by what is on the server. This is useful in a business environment where you want standard signatures across all or some computers, and is easily updated in just one place and then distributed to all nominated clients.

i have this installed on my laptop and desktop. i bought a new laptop recently, deactivated my license on the old laptop while making no change to the desktop, and installed eM Pro on the new laptop, and activated the key on the new laptop.

The license key is for one machine only. If you want to use it on multiple machines, you will have to purchase multiple licenses. Opening the program on one machine will automatically deactivate it on the other machine with only one license.

that was not my understanding when i bought a Pro license because that is not what i was told, and that is not how it has operated since purchasing it. i was told i could run a Pro license on one desktop and one laptop for the same biz, which i do and has always worked. all i did here was change from one laptop to another.

Who told you that you could use one license for two machines? eM Client has always been very clear on their policy-- one license per machine. The first 30 days you install eM Client it is in trial mode, so it actually may let you use it on more than one machine (not sure about this).

yes, now i remember that what was discussed was using a free license on one machine and a Pro license on the other. this was a while back but, as i remember it, that was the solution. so it sounds like my solution is to deactivate the Pro license on one of the machines.

You can get a second free license to use on another machine by using a different email address to register, but it must be for personal, non-commercial use. If you are using both machines for business purposes, you will need 2 pro licenses.

eM Client (opens in new tab) was developed in 2006 as a user-friendly alternative to popular email clients (opens in new tab) like Gmail and Outlook. It was created by an eponymous company based in the Czech Republic, with additional offices in the U.S. and the U.K.

You can purchase the Pro plan for individuals or for enterprises. The difference is that the latter has a License manager that enables you to remotely deactivate old unused licenses and configure server settings while the former doesn't.

The Pro license for individual use costs $25 per device but the aggregate price reduces as you add more devices. For example, a license for 5 devices will cost $66 instead of $125. For odd reasons, the Pro license for enterprises has the same pricing structure as the one for individuals even though it comes with an extra feature.

The text pane has automatic spell-check to help you avoid embarrassing typos and instant translation to tackle the problem of language barriers. Like all email clients, you can attach documents such as photos, videos, and music to send to other email addresses. If the files you want to attach are too large, you can link them from your preferred cloud storage service (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Nextcloud, or ownCloud).
